Highgate Cemetery in London is not only the last resting place of Karl Marx but also a fascinating place that seems to be forgotten for ages. Tree branches and ivy embrace the old Victorian tombstones. The people that lay here are also forgotten except for the time someone passes and stops, reads the faded names and dates and imagines what they were like.

  1. Wow, what a shot. Perfect for this week’s challenge. Those winding tree branches certainly look very mean and strong. I wouldn’t want to go near them…

      Yes, the branches really look a lot like arms that grew overnight and will reach for anyone who is passing and not paying attention. Scary.
